When one event is still affecting how you live — and you want it to stop.

Work focuses on a single event* and the unwanted changes it still creates in your life, emotions, and behaviour.

Common situations include:

  • inability to stop mentally replaying the specific event, memory, moment

  • unwanted mental images, flashes, or nightmares

  • anxiety or fear responses that started after the specific event

  • avoiding situations, places, or things linked to what happened

  • strong emotional impact following the specific event

  • a new fear that started suddenly and links back to a specific moment

  • a longstanding fear that can be traced back to a specific moment or event

Examples include fear of flying or driving, dog bite, car accident, physical assault or a threatening situation, near-death experience (such as drowning), witnessing a violent or distressing scene, a medical procedure or hospital event, public incident, humiliation.

*Important note: If the origin of the issue is not immediately clear for you, it can be clarified during our initial contact.

Work is not designed for:

  • ongoing or long-term support

  • general anxiety not linked to a specific event

  • broader exploration of your personal history
